11th Grade Humanities NY Make Up Plan

Calendar for Making Up Not Yets
in Humanities and Fundamentals of College Writing with Mrs. Self

· All Not Yets from Trimester 1 should be made up before Winter Break. There will be no Academic Workshop or Saturday School for Trimester 1 outcomes after winter break.
· After winter break, students will only be able to make up Not Yets from Trimester 1 by individual appointment and at the teacher’s discretion.
· In general, I will only accommodate students after Winter Break if they attended one of the scheduled make up sessions and still need additional help. I will not accommodate students who do not take advantage of the scheduled make up sessions.
· Students were given opportunities to make up many outcomes during Academic Workshop and Saturday School during Trimester 1. These opportunities have been noted. Students always have two dates to choose between to make up a Not Yet. If they cannot attend either session, they must meet with me before those dates to find another time.
· Students who plan to attend Saturday School must sign up ahead of time and provide a phone number at which they can be contacted if they do not show up.

Working on Not Yets with Ms. Moore (FOR 10TH-12TH GRADERS ONLY)

Get a copy of the START Make-up Chart and keep it with you. Whenever you do sustained silent reading/work with a teacher or staff member for at least 30 minutes, you can make up that time.
Conversations and/or emails regarding not yet removal can't be productive unless you have a copy of the NY Make-up Plan Chart and a copy of your CURRENT list of not yets handy.
